Hello,
I have a John McNeal, Jr. born around the same time. Circa 1708.
Not sure if he was born in America or overseas.
He lived in Wallkill, Orange Co., NY and died there 1768.
John Jr. married a Martha.
John Jr. & Martha's son John III had a son Daniel. Not yours of course, but the name could run in the family.
I just found these earlier generations of my family so I am currently researching them.
I am hoping something may ring a bell and help us both.
My direct line changed their spelling to McNeil consistanly 4 generations after John Jr.
