Hello Carol,
My mother and uncle tell me that my grandfather spoke of some murder and that is why he had to leave the farm. No one knew my grandfather's family as he never spoke of them and didn't want my grandmother trying to find them. I can give you more info if you like, I would sure appreciate it if we could share what we have. For the record this did happen in the canadian praries somewhere. It is not sure who commited the murder but apparently my grandfather knew all about a murder that took place on the farm.
