Hello,
I am researching the John McPhail Family of Montgomery Co. IL.
John McPhail b.Iverness Scotland d. and m. unknown.
John II Birth: 1787, Scotland Death: MAR 1851
John II m. Hanna McAdams b. KY. they had several childern, know there was at least a JohnI II and James. Believe that John moved to Fannin Co. Tx, and James possibly moved to OK.
John II then married Mary (Polly) Clark.
children were George W. maybe Hanna and Mariah (Twins)
George W. m. Alvira McLean m. 30 JUL 1876, Montgomery Co.,Illinois George is burried in Diverson IL.
I am not related to John, my ancestors come from the Oiley Clark marriage, but George Mariah and Hanna would be my GG Aunts and Uncle.
Does anyone know more about this family?

Mary (Polly) Clark was born c. 1819 in KY. and they married in IL.
Mary was m. to William Oiley, possible Geo. William.
they had three children David, Susan Elizabeth and cannot read name but looks like Linney Oiley.
All of Mary's Children were born in IL.
