I'm looking for any information on John McPhail who was born in England(?) about 1864. He moved to Scotland, was married in Kelty Dec. 1894 to Mary Ann Dempster. They moved to Wemyss, Scotland, shortly after and were connected to the Fairful or Fairfull family of Wemyss. His father, Kenneth McPhail, was a constable, mother was Mary Ann Smith. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.
In 1897, Mary Ann gave birth to twin girls - both died within 3 days and were "buried in common ground" at Kelty Kirk, Kelty, Fife. We believe that Mary Ann died about that time and was also buried in common ground but when??
Any help, especially on the McPhail line would be greatly appreciated.
