I descend from an Edward McQuillan who migrated to the USA about 1840 or so.He married Nancy Sanders in KY. They had two children,George E. and Mary C. Then Edward left for the California Gold Rush and was never heard from again.Nancy later moved to Missouri and re-married. Mary C. was my ancestor. Any info/connections much appreciated!!
