On the census of 1778, found that Richard Day of Great Choptank Hundred twp, Caroline Co., MD took the oath of Fidelity before Thomas Lyon Loockerman. He and his wife Deborah had 5 children there. Mary, Rhoda, Deborah, William and Richard between the years of 1774 & 1782 then migrating to Guilford co., NC. I believe they were of the Quaker faith. Is there anyone who can help me verify this information or more? Richard Sr. was born in 1755 but where? I need any information anyone may have on this family. Peggy (Day) McClintock
