Marge, thank you very much for your very detailed answer - someone else had contacted me about the cemetery being in a dense thicket in that area. I may go down there this winter when it will be easier to look around, assuming I can get anywhere near it.
The 1972 book listed my g-g-g-grandfather Thomas Voshell with a stone indiating he died May 18, 1881; his wife Sarah Ann Jones Voshell died May 1, 1896. The book also listed the epitaph. Because these stones are not listed in any later transcription, I am assuming they are long gone.
