The Valley Chronicle, St. Charles, Ill., 26 Oct 1894:
Uncle "Bill" Mobley, long a resident of St. Charles, and one of the oldest engineers in the country, lies very ill at his home in Lake Geneva. He is not expected to recover. Uncle "Bill" is now upwards of seventy years of age.
