Miriam Irene Morelock Guenther, 74, of Butler Township in
Dayton, OH, formerly of the Pilot Knob community in Greene
County, TN, died Thursday, May 1, 2008.
She was a daughter of the late Herman and Alta (Knight)
Morelock, and was preceded in death by three sisters and
one brother, all of Greene County.
Mrs. Guenther was a 1952 graduate of the former Ottway
High School in Greene County.
She retired from H.B. Fuller after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Guenther was a former member of Englewood United
Methodist Church, where she was active playing piano and
organ, teaching and helping with Bible school. She
enjoyed gardening, watching the Cincinnati Reds and
playing with her Golden Retrievers.
Her family stated, "Irene was a loving wife and mother.
She enjoyed gardening, watching the Cincinnati Reds and
playing with her Golden Retrievers."
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond
Guenther; two sons, Eric Guenther of Hubert Heights, OH,
and Alan Guenther of Dayton, OH; and nieces, nephews,
other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon,
May 4, 2008, at Kindred Funeral Home in Englewood, OH.
