Sarah Adaline WALK is identified as the mother in baptism records for her two sons, John and William CROW, dated 11 April 1879 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Port Gibson, Claiborne Co., MS. Her 3rd or 4th husband was Joseph A. CROW, born about 1831 in MS.
I have been able to trace Sarah Adaline back through the Mississippi Marriage Records FOR Claiborne Co. as follows:
1. Adaline HUDSON married Josiah JOHNSON on 29 May 1855. They had one child; Elizabeth Johnson, born 1856 in Claiborne Co., MS.
2. Mrs. Adaline JOHNSON to Samuel L. COX 18 Aug 1859 Claiborne.
3. Mrs. Adaline COX to Joseph CROW(ARD) 8 Sept 1869.
Sarah Adaline Walk may have married a man named "HUDSON" first.
Any information on the WALK family of 1850-1860 Mississippi that could shed light on who Sarah Adaline's parents were would be greatly appreciated.
Sarah Adaline WALK was my great-grandmother.
