Now researching this Family. Mattie is my First Cousin 2X Removed. Any information will be appreciated. Mattie Allen is the Daughter of Dora Reid and William Allen, she married Ross Witt about 1893 in Mississippi and they are the parents of:
Virgil Homer Witt born about 1894 Ms
William A Witt born about 1902 Ms
Hubert F Witt born about 1906 Ms
Rebecca O Witt born about 1910 Ms
The Witts are found on the 1900 Pontotoc Ms and 1910 Blue Springs Union Ms Census as a Family. Ross is the son of William Witt and Naomi found on the 1880 Beat 2 Lee Ms Census. Sometime before 1930 the Witts removed to Greenwood Poinsett Arkansas where they are located on the census there with Daughter Oval Mcintosh and son Virgil Mcintosh age 1 born in Arkansas.
If anyone has any additional information concerning any of these Family Members I would certainly appreciate hearing from them.
