Searching for more information on Jessie S. Kelley. Researchers believe he was born September 1814 in Georgia. I don't know when he died, sometime after 1880 in Texas. He was listed in the 1880 Lee County, MS Census. Buried in Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Lee County, TX. Headstone reads "Jessie S. Kelley CO E 1 MISS INF CSA". He married Margarete Winner and Nancy Baines resulting in children from both marriages. We have hit a dead end and would greatly appreciate any information.
