Thanks for the info Thomas. There are several descendants of Jessie Kelley that are trying to find information on his parents. So far, it's been a dead end. We know he was born in Georgia, lived in Mississippi for a while where he was in the Confederate Army and also married twice and had several children, and moved to Texas where he died.
