Mary Jane, dau of James Nash, was b 21 Nov 1826 in Greene Co, OH; m 21 Jan 1847 to William Turnbull. Among nine children was Emma Etta, b 5 Apr 1861 in Henderson Co, IL., where Wm and Mary Jane had moved soon after their marriage.
In 1867,the family moved to Wayne Co, IA. I know nothing about them beyond that.
This information is taken from a Nash Family Genealogy (which I believe to be reliable) published about 1984 by Ralph G. Nash
