I am trying to find Nathaniel Nash who married Elizabeth Thornton , widow of Thomas Brown (1671-1706) of Westmoreland County VA. Nathaniel Nash died in 1727 and Elizabeth raised her 6 children.
In her undated will probated 30 Mar 1762, she mentions all her Nash
childr:en and a son, Thomas Brown born . in 1704 before his father's death.
Here are her named children in the will:
Daughter Ann Nash, one cow and calf
Son John Nash, one feather bed and furniture
Son THOMAS BROWN, one shilling
Son Nathaniel Nash, one shilling
Daughter Elizabeth Bragg, one shilling
Son William Nash, one shilling
Son Jeremiah Nash, the rest of my estate and he is named executor.
Witnessed by Gerrard Hutt, Jr. and Osimon Crabb.  The will is not dated but was presented to court, 30 March 1762.  (Westmoreland County Deed & Will Book 14:118).
I am sending this in hopes that I can find others from this familyi. Thomas Brown was my grandfather who later lived in Richmond County VA. I do appreciate any help and please reach me at <Lexspence@sat.rr.com>
Thank you, Luanne Spence Taylor
