JACOB NASH of CT/NY REV. WAR SOLDIER

An article appeared in our local newspaper about JACOB NASH, a revolutionary war soldier, who was born in Ridgefield, CT 8/30, 1751. He was the seventh child of Abraham Nash and Rhoda Keeler. He met and married Freelove Keeler, who died early in the marriage. He then married Phoebe Kellogg and they moved to Ballston Spa, NY. They had a least one child named Jacob, Jr.

He is listed in both the DAR and SAR for his service in the battle of Norwalk, CT, where he was apparently killed in the service of his country.

This is all I know about this family, but thought I would publish the genealogical aspects of the article in case it would help.
