Have been away for a while and figure its time for a new posting. Am looking for information on an Elenora Nash (A Porter I think). She was born about 1779 and died after 1850. First record of her I think is on the 1810 Frederick Co., Census. She is listed as E. Nash. In 1830 She is in Adams Co., PA (Franklin Township). In 1840 & 1850 she is in Baltimore County, MD. No record after 1850. Husbands name is unknown but probably John or Thomas. Known Children are: Thomas P. Nash(1798-1880) Marr. Elizabeth Gibbs (1810-1899) Elizabth Nash(1796-1880) Marr. William Gosnell (1798-1845) Possible child is: Susanna Nash (1808-1883) Marr. John Bingaman (1807-1864) ________________________________________________________ Looking for Information on a Phillip Porter of Baltimore Co., MD born Circa 1750's-1760 died after 1821. Believe that Phillip Porter may be Elenora's father. In 1779 Phillip was deeded a 56 Acre Parcel called "Porters Hall" from Thomas Porter. Located off of Deer Park Road near Soldiers Delight in Reisterstown, MD. The property is located behind the Deer Park Methodist Church. In 1821 Phillip Porter of Frederick Co., MD deeded the property to Elijah Porter of Fred. Co. Can find no record of transfer until 1882 & 83. Not sure how it happened but Phillip apparently died intestate and the property was inherited by my GGGG Grandmother Elenora Nash (A Porter I think). She was born in approx. 1779 and died after 1850. A deed in 1883 refers to the transfer in 1779 and says that the same Phillip Porter was her father. She is likely buried there on the property along with 20-30 other unmarked graves. Know that there are Nash's, Murrays, Merrymans(I think) buried there. Notify Administrator about this message?
