Looking for information on Milissa/Malissa (?) Nash/Hatcher/Moore who was in Dyer Co., TN. bef. 1850 and continued to live there until sometime after 1880. Dyer Co., TN. 1850 census, dated 1850 Sept. 21, Microfilm #M432_877, stamped pg. #187B, lines #38 - #42. hh #262 - #262, Civil Dist. #4 J. M. Ridens 25 m Grocerer PP$1300 TN. M. C. Ridens 16 f TN. Signed: R. M. TARRANT Clerk At 2 O Clock PM. Louisa M. Hatcher, on the above deed, appears to be the former wife of William Nash, dec'd. My Malissa Hatcher was the only Hatcher listed on the Dyer Co., TN. 1850 census and no female Nash was listed on this census having the initials L. or L. M. or the first name of Louisa/Louise. There was a Martha Nash listed on the 1850 Dyer Co., TN. census but she was 19 yrs. old and married to John Nash. Are Malissa Hatcher and Louisa M. Hatcher one and the same person? Milissa married John L. Moore in Dyer Co., TN. ca. 1859. They were listed on the 1860 - 1870 Dyer Co., TN. censuses (Drucilla, John's 1st wife, apparently died in Dyer co., TN. bet. 1851 - 1858). John L. Moore was b. ca. 1803 in NC. d. bet. 1874 - 1877 Dyer Co., TN. Milissa (listed as Malissa Moore) was living with son Rev. John R. Nash on 1880 Dyer Co., TN. census. Dyer Co., TN. 1860 census, dated 1860 Jul 11, Microfilm #M653_1248, written pg. #27, stamped pg. #313A, lines #21 - #23. hh #61 - #65, Dyersburg J. L. Moore 55 m Farmer RE$1000 PP $840 NC. M. Dyer Co., TN. 1870 census, dated Jun. 1870, Microfilm #M593_1525, written pg. #13, stamped pg. #23A, lines #33 - #35. hh #105 - #97, Civil District #2, Friendship Post Office. Dyer Co., TN. 1880 census, dated 1880 Jun. 4, Microfilm #T9_1253, District #11, ED #5, written pg. #16, stamped pg. #20B, lines #26 - #34. hh #147 - #147, District #2 John Nash 42 m w Preacher/Farmer TN TN TN. Martha Farbuss/Ferbuss (sp?) 23 f w Keeps House TN Blank Blank. Children listed above were children of John and 2 of his 3 wives. William, Reuben and Stettman/Stillman (sp?) Nash were sons of John and 2nd wife Victoria J. (Wilkerson) Luckey whom he married in Henry Co., TN. 8-3-1863 (Victoria's 1st husband was Samuel Risen Luckey). Bertha Nash was daughter of John and 3rd wife Sarah Amanda Miller whom he married in Dyer Co., TN. 11-15-1877. Any help in identifying this Nash/Hatcher/Moore family very much appreciated.
