While searching records I came across this one. Thought I'd share...no relation to me.
I have not found an Appalonia Nash. I did locate a B.R. Payne (should be "P") in the 1870 TX census. Wife listed only as "A". She was born in KY and a laborer, GR Lewis also of Tenn is living with them.

"He was born Oct 07,1842, Smith Co. Tennessee.
Died 1930, Grapevine, Texas. Married Appalonia Nash on Jan. 31, 1868.
Bailey P. Payne's parents were: Larkin Payne & Jane Sutton. Jane's parents were:
George Sutton & Wife Cartwright. One of Jane's sisters married Silas Wakefield.
He served in 6th Regiment, Com B DADE COUNTY
"LOOKOUT DRAGOONS"
Other men in that Company also moved to Grapevine, Texas. William F. Wilkinson was one of the Regiment's solders who moved there."
