My particular NASHes emigrated to US from Leam, County Mayo, Northern Ireland in 1861 (three brothers). Settled primarily in Pittsburgh, PA. I am descended from Patrick Nash. Patrick married Annie HUGHES (whose family emigrated to the US in 1854). They had 9 children:
- Hernietta Nash, born May 1867, a musician; married James MURRAY (an actor, English) and had at least 3 children: Frank, James Jr., and Clara;
- Margaret (Maggie), born in 1865
- Mary, born 1868
- Annie S, born 1870 - Genevieve (though also noted at Genora on a census), born 1879
- Frances H, b 5/1882
Other than some census data, I only have a typed family story about the Nashes, specifically Patrick. Nothing is
- Rose, born 1873
- Stella, born 1874 (married Charles F. MCLAUGHLIN)
- Florence A, born 1876
documented . . only now am I starting to find documents to backup the stories. If you are interested in his story, let me know and I will send you a copy.
