Forgot another Nelson/Styron connection in the family.
Susan Helen Styron, dau of Abisha married Joseph Thornton ca 1866. Their son Joseph Robert Thornton married Dean Morrison, dau of Thomas C Morrison and Ann Elizabeth Nelson. Ann Elizabeth Nelson is the dau of Thomas Nelson and 2nd wife Mahalia Lyons. Thomas Nelson is son of Joseph Nelson and abigail Stiron/Styron.
I think I found where Ann Elizabeth Nelson had a sister Camelia bn 1846 who also married a Morrison. John, I believe. (2 sisters married 2 brothers???)
Joseph Robert Thornton and Dean Morrison were my father-in-law's maternal grandparents.
Checked out that site and still can't find Abisha Styron/Stiron's parents. Please let me know if I have any errors. These 2 families are the hardest to untangle.
