I have a Francis Neve that married a Afa (Afer) Holland. Francis was born in England and moved to the US and Afa was born in Germany, Afa's parents moved to the US with her but were killed when she was very young. Afa was then raised by a couple whose name is believed to have been Holland. Afa's last name is believed to have been Dudley or a name that sounds like it. Francis and Afa moved to Texas in Victoria County on August 17, 1849. Their children's name are: Viola, Ophelia, William, Thomas, Perlina, Elizabeth, Francis, Orin (my great-grandfather), and Evora. All of them born in Texas. If you think there is a connection please responed.
