Gr.-granddaughter of Benjamin Cumings, Jr., [1781-1852] & Lucy Whitaker, [1782-1861], his 3d wife, m. 1805; Abram Amsden & Mehittable Currier, his wife; Matthew Rue, [b. 1782] & Charlotte Higgins, his 3d wife.

William Poole, [1726-95], served in the capture of Ticonderoga. He was born in Reading, Mass.; died in Hollis, N. H.
Benjamin Cumings, [1757-1804], was a minute man at Bunker Hill. He was born in Hollis; died in Brookline, N. H.
Also Nos. 3625, 9702.
John Rue, [1754-1844], served several short enlistments as a private. He was placed on the pension roll of Middlesex Co., 1831, for service in the New Jersey militia. He is buried in Cranbury, N. J.
Also Nos. 28486, 29293.
Abraham Amsden, [1752-1833], served as a private in Capt. Farwell's company, Massachusetts militia. He was born in Southboro, Mass.; died in Ashtabula, Ohio.
John Whitaker, [1743-1829], served as a private in the New Hampshire militia. He died in Mason, N. H.

Here's another reference to Poole being of Reading, MA. I am not related to this family.
