Hi Rowena, thanks for your response.

It could have been either, but very possibly Alberta because that is where the other side of the family at that point is from. Myra and Hal were my great grandparents, and their daughter Sandra (my grandmother) lived in BC all MY life, but my grandfather was from Alberta (or so I've heard...I have so very little concrete information on this side of my family). I have also heard that one or both of them (Myra and Hal) are of Welsh descent, if that helps at all. Sorry I don't have very much information, I have been trying to ask my family about stuff, but to little avail.
