Floyd Nicholson was my grandfather's nephew. My grandfather was Clarence T.L. Nicholson. Floyd descended from Ernest Nicholson. Ernest's siblings included:
1.Ella Mae Nicholson
2.Eulah Nicholson married Albert Leo Hewitt
3.Hurbert Nicholson who married Martha Long
4.Whit Nicholson born 1907 died 1907
5.Bessie Nicholson married 1.? Slaughter and 2. ? Chavez
6.Dove who married Tom Cole
7.Clarence born apr 1908 and died 1956 married Clora "Mae" Weaver.
Floyd's grandparents were: John Andy Nicholson and Dora Moore both from Union Co, GA. John Andy was born 1870 in Union Co, GA and died 1914 in Miledgeville, GA. He married Dora Jane Moore in Union Co, GA on 02/17/1886. Dora was born in Union Co, GA in 1872 and died 1954 in Polk Co, TN. Dora is buried in Chastain Memorial Garden (Fannin Co, GA).
