I was wondering if anyone has managed to trace themselves back to any of the Nicholsons resident on Lewis today?
Although now Living in Kent i was brought up on the nicholson croft in borve but my people settled there from Galson.
My family still live on the islands but we have never looked to far back (although my grandmother is a mine of info when asked)
I would be interested to hear from anyone that has any family history and links
