Edmond Nickleson married Florence (last name unknown). My grandmother, Mary Louise, was one of their children. Florence as I am told died young and Edmond remarried a woman named Marie. They had several children together, Norma, John, Jim, Claude, Maude and Maude. My grandmother Mary Louise Nickelson (Kelso) has one other living sibling somewhere in the South. She is currentely in a mental institution. Marry Louise Nickleson married my Great Grandfather James Wallace Kelso Sr. in Tennessee. James Wallace Kelso had alt least 3 other siblings a brother named Robert Kelso. His brother, Robert, had two daughters, Norma Jean Kelso and Peggy Sue Kelso. His sister I believe were Joanna Kelso and Cecilia Kelso. James Wallace Kelso's father name is unkown to me. I am told his mother's name was Sophia, but thats all I know. James Wallace Kelso and Mary Louise Nickelson had eleven children together in this order. The first five were born at home by midwife in Tennessee. The remaining six were also born by midwife in the area of Bridgeport, Alabama. 1. James Wallace Kelso Jr. 2. Cecilia Kelso (named after James Sr's sister) 3. Gloria Kelso 4. Sophia Kelso (named after her grandmother) 5. Alice Kelso 6. Ben Kelso (my father) 7. Prudie Kelso 8. Charles Edward Kelso 9. Sarah Kelso 10. Johnnie Kelso 11. Patricia Kelso During the rise of General Motors the family all moved north. James Wallace Jr. and Alice Kelso settled in the Columbus, Ohio region. The rest of the family settled in Flint, Michigan where many found work at General Motors. Notify Administrator about this message?
