Posted by: Leslie P. Marable (ID *****5412) Date: July 06, 2008 at 08:53:57   of 4874 Through DNA testing, we recently discovered a long-time rumor to be true. Who I thought was my grandpa isn't him afterall! We have reason to believe our real grandpa lived in the Ft. Sumner or Artesia, NM areas. In 1937, (when "Grandpa" was back & forth overseas) my grandmother lived in Artesia, but visited her mother & brother in the Ft. Sumner area. My dad was born in March of 1938.
