Hello:
My name is Robert O. Blea from Albuquerque,New Mexico.
I don't know about an orphanage run by the Sisters of Loretto,but I do know of a convent school run by them.It was located in Bernalillo-Sandoval County,New Mexico.
My paternal grandmother,Isabel Blea,attended the convent school as a child.She was born about 1917 and died in 2003.
So I imagine that she attended the convent school about 1923 or thereabouts for how long I don't know.Grandma didn't speak about her childhood very much at all.
The Sisters of Loretto still exist.They have an order in Santa Fe,New Mexico.
You might want to try to find information from there.
