James W. Norris b.1804 Phelps, Ontario Co., NY. Settled in Livingston Co.,NY in 1849. His 1st wife was L. Marlett b.1810 Monroe Co., NY. They were married in 1829 and she died in 1846. His 2nd wife was Mrs. Adeline Pierce Brownson b.Cayuga Co., NY. They were married 1847 and she died May 28th, 1875. His 3rd wife was Mrs. Clarinda Batterson Hayward b.1825 Livingston Co.,NY. They were married on Oct. 1st, 1878. Seven Children and Five are living (1880) <not named>.
