I am looking for the parents of Thomas Northcutt. The information listed below is what I have gathered from census records and death certificates. Something happened between 1850 and 1860 because the family is scattered throughout the county.
I have hit a brick wall and if anyone can help fill in some of these blanks, I would greatly appreciate it.

-Tabitha (Maiden unknown) Foster 2/7/1850 (Assuming Martha Foster, age 1, listed on 1850 census is her daughter from her first marriage.)

Notes:-1850 Book A of the marriage record shows Thomas Northcut marrying Tabitha Foster on 2/7/1850.
-1850 census lists Thomas, as age 34 born in KY, a farmer, with wife Bitha (Tabitha), age 23 born in TN, and William and Martin Northcutt and Martha Foster age 1.
-1850 Poplar Bluff, MO census shows Benjamin Northcut, age 2, and Mary Northcut, age 12, living with Peter and Kesiah Gilbert and their children, Martha, Wiley, Carrel, and Charles
-On 1860 Butler County census listed age 46 born in TN, a laborer, living with Jeremiah (b. ca. 1834 KY) and Mary J. Holt (b. ca. 1839 MO). This is Mary Northcutt Holt, Thomas’ daughter. Also living with the Holts are: Nancy Holt, age 1, Andrew Northcutt, age 8, and James Northcutt, age 5.
-1860 Poplar Bluff, MO census shows Benjamin Northcut, age 11 living with Carrol Gilbert (male age 26 and head of household) and Martha (Gilbert) Cooper (age 30-assuming she’s a widow & Carrol’s sister. Keziah Gilbert (age 62), Carrol’s mother is also living in the home.
- In 1860, the Butler County Census lists 10 year-old Robert as living in the home of Elizabeth Keener, age 73, born in NC. Living in the same home were Jacob Keener, age 25, a farmer; and Harry Keener, age 20, also a farmer.
-1860 Poplar Bluff, MO census also shows Sarah Northcut, age 40 with F. Northcut age 12. Sarah is listed as head of household. Also living with her are: Peter Gibson, age 23; Mary A. Gibson, age 18; C. Gibson (female), age 9, MJ Gibson (female), age 3. There is a Joseph Gibson, age 65, living next door.
