Hmmmm. If Robert Northcutt was 47 in 1920, that would have put him born in 1873. That's the same year that Ruben Northcutt was born. Ruben was born 4/4/1873...unless he was born in 1872 and his birthday had just not rolled around at the time the census was taken. Was there an 1890 census? I have the info on the 1900 census for the Northcutts: 1900 Missouri, Butler County, Poplar Bluff Township, ED#17, Page 127A, 6/30/1900: Robert Northcut, 48yo, 2/1852, M/28yrs, MO KY Unk, Farmer Mary A., wife, 53yo, 12/1848, M/28yrs, 8 children/4 living, MO KY MO Ruben, son, 27yo, 4/1873, MO MO MO, Farm Laborer George, son, 18yo, 9/1881, MO MO MO, Farm Laborer Lou, daughter, 15yo, 5/1885, MO MO MO There's a son that is missing. Where was Robert Northcutt (the younger) during 1900. He was probably married and living on his own. It looks like we're talking about the same family here.
