Boardmans New York to Minn. 1800's

As the story goes: Two Boardman brothers came to NY. My greatgrandfather was Philo Boardman and by 1857 he was in Minn. and had bought land and had a family. His wife died and around the early 1860's he remarried a Julia Ann ? from NY. She was a schoolteacher.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,June Mathers
