Hi Cindy,

We are distantly related! Ok, your Matthew was the brother to Thomas (jr). Matthew b. 1814 GA and Thomas Jr. b. 1818 GA. They both have the same parents, Thomas Sr. and Sally. I am traced down through Thomas Jr. His daughter Sara Evaline Obarr was my gg-grandmother.

E-mail me and I can give you a descendants list of what I have. Do you have any stories to share? I do not know a whole lot. I know Sara Evaline's father, Thomas Jr, was killed while trying to make it back home to Alabama(civil war) to see Evaline right after she was born. A Union Sniper shot him and he is buried in Macon County, GA. I found his grave listing online. Sara's mother, Hannah, remarried. I thought it sad that Thomas never got to see his daughter.
