Hi,
I repost from time to time because stuff gets lost in these forums.
I'm researching ancestors with the Oliver surname. My line was in Greene, Sullivan and Delaware counties in NYS. There are other researchers in the family who have connected them with other states but I haven't seen the connection so I'm sticking with what I've verified.
My line is as follows, beginning with my great great grandmother who also happens to my my great great aunt, because an Odell sister and brother married an Oliver brother and sister and a couple of the cousins married and had children so the 2 families are doubly related in several families:
Minerva A. Oliver b. 1861, Sullivan Co., NY, m. Joseph King Odell, 1879, d. 1931, Delaware Co., NY, dau of:
Darius Oliver and Hannah Odell, m. 1853, Darius b. 1831, Greene Co., NY, d. 1915 Del Co., NY, son of:
Ezra Oliver and Hester (possibly Crandall), Ezra b. abt 1805 NY, d. 1860-1870 probably Sull Co., NY. Ezra was also married to an Abigail in Sullivan Co.
Any information appreciated. Please include as much information in posts and emails as possible: Who, What, When, Where, birth, marriage, death dates and places.
