Hi All. Just a little up date on some of the way old folks. The Esther Thorn, that you have as the wife of Daniel Larson Orear. Probably is not actually a Thorn. In daniel L.'s will he refurs to his "step-father" as his "father-in-law" William Thorn was Daniel's mothers second husband. Wm T. raised the three O'Rear children, plus Wm & Mary had a child of their own, Susannah Thorn, that married John Reno. Wm Thorn married again after Mary's death & he had John Thorn about 1748. Susannah & John are the only children known born to William Thorn. Esther's parents are not really known, but it is doubtful that she was a Thorn.
