Hello,
I am currently working on my grandmother's line. She was an Orrell. I have several bits of documentation that have gotten me a frame to work with but I would like to fill in some gaps.
Albert Orrell (b. 1859) came to Arkansas with family members. It seems that his mother gave him up for unknown reasons in Indiana. He married Nancy Jane Jack (b. 1859) in 1881. We believe they had 9 children.
Albert was the s/o Oliver Orrell (b. 1837) and Margaret McCaffrey (b. 1839) His father died while in the military according to records. We think they had 4 children.
Oliver was the s/o James Thomas Orrell (b. 1799) and Anne Crowder (b. 1803). We have four children for James and Anne. One census listed James as a shoemaker.
I don't know much more than this. I would love to share imformation.
