Thanks for your note. From what limited info I have the Peach family (of my line) were originally lace makers in Nottingham. A son Charles did not follow into the lace business and instead became a civil engineer working on rail and canal construction in Canada and South America. He married Maria Stanley and with her had several children one of which was John Robert Peach who also was in the railroad building business (I think). John went to Australia for rail building work in about 1870 after working in Peru with his father. He may have ultimately died in Australia due to an illness he contracted in Peru. That is all I know of John Robert.

Charles froze to death in a Canadian winter storm in 1882.
Stephen was Charles' son who also was in rail construciton in Canada and California. Died in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1930.

Another Charles was my grandfather who became a farmer
