My Dad, E.C. Peachey of Oklahoma/Arkansas just signed up to participate in a DNA Surname Project through Familytree DNA. His great grandfather, James Peachey came from ENG in the 1850's but I have been unable to narrow down the county. I think Sussex or Suffolk as there are a great many Peachey families in those area's. I am hoping we can eventually pinpoint where he came from but it will only work if we can get more male Peachey's to participate. Especially Peachey's from England but I would encourage anyone to add their information to the database as it can only help in the long run. It only takes a cheek swab. My maternal grandfather did this for his surname 4 years ago and it helped several people refine their branches.

Regards,
Kristin Peachey Robinson
