Looking for the parents of Nathan M. Pease who lived in Florida:

1 Nathan M. Pease; b. in Maine lived in Florida. His wife was born in Georgia. In 1845, there was an N. M. Pease who was an election inspector of St. Mary’s Precinct of Columbia County, FL. This county, created Feb 1832, became the parent county of New River County created in 1858. New River split off into Baker and Bradford Counties. Two children of Nathan M. Pease:

1.2 Sarah Jane       b.       1851              d.

1.1 Nathan D. Pease; b. Jan 1844 in Florida; bur. Turner Cemetery; m. Jul 03, 1882 in Baker County, FL Susan Burnsed; b. Jan 1852 in Florida. She was the daughter of James M. Burnsed; b. Jan 16, 1817 in Georgia; d. Apr 24, 1885 from pneumonia in Baker County; bur. with his wife in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, FL and Eliza Motts; b. about 1823 in GA; d. Sep 12, 1899. During the 1920 census, Susan is widowed and living with her son John and daughter Lenora in Sanderson. His father was born in Maine and his mother in Florida or Georgia. The first time Nathan Pease appears was on an 1877 tax payer list of Baker County, FL. In 1879, Nathan registered his cattle and other livestock with the county clerk of courts. He is next found in the 1880 census of Sanderson, Baker County, Florida where he is a farmer, single and living with his sister Sarah. Nathan served in the Civil War as a Confederate and was awarded in 1902 a pension certificate number A03472. In the 1900 census, he and his family are in Sanderson. 1.1.3 John Bryant Pease; b. Sep 30, 1886 in St. Mary, FL. When John filed his WWI draft registration card, he was single and working on his parent’s farm in St. Mary. He was described as having a slender build, brown eyes and dark hair. In 1920, he is still single, farming and living with his widowed mother and sister Lenora in Sanderson, Baker County, Florida. In 1930, John is single, and a laborer on a tomato farm in Election Precinct 5, Collier County, Florida. He is a lodger in the Frank A. Burnside household.

1.1.4.Albert Arthur Pease; b. Jan 09, 1889 in Sanderson, FL; d. Dec 1956 in Duval County, FL; m. Dec 16, 1914 in Baker County, FL Olie Rhoden; b. about 1896 in Florida. He was living in St. Mary, Florida, married with one child and working as a nurseryman when he filed his WWI draft registration card. At that time he was described as having a medium build, brown eyes and light hair. During the 1920 census, Albert is living on Magnolia Street in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida and he is working as a watchman in a shipyard. In 1930, Albert and his family (5 daughters) are living on Sunset Drive in South Miami, Dade County, Florida where he is working as a machinist in a repair shop. Children of Albert Arthur and Olie (Rhoden) Pease born in Florida (from 1930 census, hand writing not the greatest):
