I've expanded this family quite a bit, but still can't locate the parents of Enoch 1 Enoch Mornvelva Pease; b. Nov 14, 1830 in Wayne Co, NY; d. Feb 26, 1901 in Wagner, SD; bur. with his wife in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery; m. Jul 05, 1856 in Geneva, MI, Rachel Abigail Welch; b. Feb 1833 in PA or MI; d. Jan 25, 1903 in Wagner. In the 1880 Census, Enoch and his family were living in Crawford, Iowa. Pease enlisted Sep 17, 1861 at Geneva, MI as a Private in Company C 3rd Michigan Cavalry; discharged Jan 18, 1864; re-enlisted in the same outfit as a hospital steward Jan 19, 1864 at LaGrange, TN, and discharged Feb 12, 1866 at San Antonio, TX. During the 1880 census, Enoch and his family were living in District 67 of Iowa, Crawford County, Iowa, where he is listed as a farmer and both of his parents being born in NY. Legend says he was a wool carder who moved to South Dakota in 1882. It might be of interest that there was a Henry Pease who enlisted in Company M, 3rd Cavalry Feb 15, 1864 at South Haven, MI age 38, and mustered out Feb 23, 1864 at San Antonio, TX. During the 1900 census, Enoch and Rachel are living next to their son Addison in Choteau Creek, Plain Center Twp, Charles Mix County, South Dakota. Sep 1858 in Michigan; m. about 1884 Jennie Attila Bell; b. Apr 1865 in NY or Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Andrew L. Bell; b. about 1844 in NY. During the 1900 census, Milton and his family were living in Turnwater, Thurston County, Washington, and he was listed as an engineer. In 1910, they are on North 28th Street in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington where he is working as a millwright in a sawmill, and in 1920 he and Jennie were living with her father on Garfield Street in Steilacoom, Pierce County, WA. No one in the household is working. During the 1930 census, it is just Milton and Jennie on Cedar Street in Steilacoom, and at age 71, he is working as a laborer in a gravel pit. During the 1900 census, George and his family were living on Hall Street in Valentine, Cherry County, Nebraska, and he was working as a day laborer. Two of the three children of George L. and Minerva Roseltha (Pease) Harden, #1 born in South Dakota, #2 in Nashville, TN: 1.2.1 Frances W. b. Jul 1886 d. 1.2.2 Carl Donavan b. Sep 19, 1895 d. 1.3 Addison Henry Pease; b. May 17, 1867 in Lacota, Michigan; m. Sep 01, 1890, Carrie V. Thompson. She was the daughter of Harry Thompson, who was a sheriff of Douglas County. Addison was educated the common schools in the territory of Dakota. As he has personally stated, his education was secured "principally by hard knocks and practical experience." He drove a stage coach, and in Jun 1895, he took up a homestead claim on Yankton reservation, Charles Mix County until Jan 01, 1901, when he removed to the town of Wagner. Addison was postmaster at Wagner. During the 1900 census, Addison, Cara, and daughter Dawn are living next to his father in Choteau Creek, Plain Center Twp, Charles Mix County, South Dakota. Dawn’s parents are listed as being born in Illinois, so she may have been adopted. Addison purchased and became publisher and editor of the Charles Mix County New Era, a weekly paper. He was a Republican, one of the charter members of Wagner Tent, No. 59, Knights of the Maccabees. One child (possibly adopted) of Addison Henry and Carrie V. During the 1910 census, Moses and his family were living in the 1st Ward of Wagner, Charles Mix County, South Dakota, and he was working as a laborer. In 1920, they were on South 18th Street in the 4th Ward of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and he was listed as a stationary engineer. In 1930, Moses, Mollie and son Gerald are on Steilacoom Road in Lake City, Pierce County, Washington, and he is working as a farm laborer. Children of Moses Harvey and Mollie E. When he filed his WWI draft registration card, Ira Daisy were living at 4809 Leavenworth in Omaha, Nebraska, and he was working as a laborer for Omaha Structural Steel Company. At that time, Ira was described as having a medium build, blue eyes and light brown hair. In 1930, they are on Steilacoom Road in Lake City, Pierce County, Washington, and he is working as an attendant with the US Veteran’s Hospital. Children of Ira Arthur and Daisy B. May 24, 1896 in Ulfordsville, Indiana. His parents were born in Indiana. During the 1930 census, William, Jennie and her brother Roy were living in San Diego, San Diego County, California. William was a Chief Petty Officer for the US Navy 1.4.5 Everett M. Pease; b. Apr 19, 1903 in South Dakota; d. Feb 14, 1988 in Tacoma, WA; m. Viola E.; b. about 1908 in Nebraska. Her father was born in Kansas, and her mother in Nebraska. During the 1930 census, Everett and his family are living on Steilacoom Road in Lake City, Pierce County, Washington, and he is working as an odd jobs laborer. One child of Everett M. and Viola E. Pease born in Nebraska: 1.4.5.1 Lone E. b. 1927 d. 1.4.6 Roy G. Pease; b. Apr 15, 1907 in South Dakota; d. Apr 1982 in Pierce County, WA. During the 1930 census, Roy was living in his brother-in-law’s household (William McCord) in San Diego, San Diego County, California. Roy was not working at that time. 1.6 Dora Pease; b. Jun 30, 1877 in Maxburg, Madison Co, IA; d. Jul 11, 1948 in Torrington, WY; m. 1906 James Hiram Knott; b. Jul 09, 1878 in Washington, VA; d. Oct 15, 1935 in Ft. Laramie, WY.
