Thanks for your reply...sorry I hadn't seen it before now! I am with you with your searching...I had found much of what you found on Alanson. You also found a few things that I had missed.
I am not positive that there is a HEALD connection, but there are a lot of coincidences. Alanson PEASE was living next door to my Thomas HEALD in the 1840 census in Girard Twp., Erie Co., PA. There are also a few PEASE's John and John A.)on the same page as Thomas' son (John W. HEALD)in North East Twp., Erie Co PA.
Each town and state that Alanson and his family were, Thomas and his family were also. I am thinking that there may a family connection. May I email you to share more information?
