My father is Charles Joseph Pease II born in Brooklyn, New York in 1936. His father was also Charles Joseph Pease of New York, and was a detective in NY. He was born in approximately 1900. I am looking for guidance on how to start from them and to search back through my family history, which I have been told begins in this country in 1634 when they came to Massachusetts, but I am not sure.
Anyone familiar with this branch of the Pease family? I am told my grandfather's brother was George Pease who played football for Columbia University. My grandfather Charles also had brothers Larry and Orville.
