I found more on Pease-Wellington. I can't find Charles and Fatima BEFORE 1870. There is a C. C. Pease in Mentz, Cayuga County, NY in 1840. I have this posted in the Pease and Wellington Forums

Charles C. Pease; b. about 1806 in New York; m. Fatima Wellington; b. in New York. During the 1870 census, Charles was a widower living with his children in Jamestown P. O. Ellicott, Chautauqua County, NY and working in a shoe shop. Children of Charles C. and Fatima (Wellington) Pease:

1 David H.       b. Apr       1840
2 Edmund H.       b. Jan 08, 1846
3 Carrie       b. 1850

NEXT GENERATION
1 David H. Pease; b. Apr 1840 in NY; m. Sarah; b. Nov 1840 in NY. During the 1880 census, David and his family were living in Jamestown, Chautauqua County, NY and he was a shoemaker. His brother Edmund, single, and also a shoemaker was in the same household. In 1900, David and his family were living on Owasco Street in Auburn, Cayuga County, NY and he was working still employed as a shoe worker. In the 1900 Auburn City directory, his address is listed as 55 Owasco Street. In 1910, David was a widower living with his two daughters, Augusta and Fatima on Seymour Street in Auburn. Children of David H. and Sarah Pease born in NY:
Augusta E.       b. May 1861       d.
William              b. 1867       d.
Charles              b. 1870       d. Nov 26, 1939
Edwin              b. 1873       d.
Fatima A.       b. Jun 1875       d.
Amelia E. b. Dec 1878       d.

NEXT GENERATION
Fatima A. Pease; b. Jun 1875 in NY. During the 1910 census, Fatima was living with her widowed father and sister Augusta on Seymour Street in the sixth ward of Auburn, Cayuga County, NY. In 1930, she was on Genesee Street in Auburn. Fatima was still single and living with her widowed sister Amelia Brown. Both women were working as Press Tenders for the America Record Corporation.

I'm looking for any Peases or Wellingtons who have New York connections, and may be able to help.

Rick in Taunton, MA
