Mirom Pease's fathet

Hi I am doing some research on my family history and I traced my family history back to Mirom Pease. The only information I could find on Mirom's father was that he was born in vermont. Mirom was born in 1855 in Missouri and lived in Clinton Mo in 1880. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
