The connection to our Joseph ("The Ancestor") is most unlikely. See what Ira Peck says about Joseph Peck of Milford, CT, in
his book at p. 289. I doubt Ira would have missed the connection if there were one. Even more to the point, Ira cites a
contemporaneous entry by the Town Clerk of Hingham that specifically says Joseph sailed for England with his father, Rev.
Robert Peck. (Ira's book, p.26.) Further, the birth date of Joseph Peck of Milford is unknown (i.e., the 1610 birth date
cited is itself fabricate), so it could not match that of Robert's son.
