Since I last posted, I read the will of Rev. Robert (b 1580). It certainly suggests that his son Joseph had returned to England with him and was in some way incapacitated. So . . . he could not be Joseph of Milford.

Is there enough information yet to make the analysis of the DNA project as suggested by Michael Shoemaker realistic? If so, it would suggest that Joseph of Milford is descended from Robert of Beccles and is probably his grandson, but by which of his sons (not Joseph, not Robert)????????
