Has anyone run across this gent? He married Julie Ann Peters in Northampton County North Carolina on 21 Oct 1826. She is the daughter of John Peters of Greensville County, Virginia. Her brother John removed to Lauderdale County Alabama while she and Seth remove to Lowndes County Mississippi. What is interesting for me is the connection to the Poythress besides John and Christian Peebles Poythress. Seth is bound by law with Hardyman Poythress in Northampton County NC over the estate of Hardyman's brother John. I saw an earlier post regarding the Indian ancestry on the Peebles line, this may be part of that. Hardyman Poythress is listed as an FPC in the census records and he may be the Hardyman Poythress connected with Flowerdew Hundred, across the street from the Peebles BonAccord Plantation in Prince George County. Seth and the Peters and the Poythress are all in the Fountain's Creek area of Greensville as well as the Gaston area of Northampton County NC.
