I am looking for more info on Margaret C PEEBLES, born 24 Nov 1844 and died 07 Jul 1926. Her parents were John PEEBLES and Sarah Jane WALLACE, who married in 1841 in Ireland. John and Sarah moved in the spring of 1841 to Frankville, Ont. The only info I have on John is that he died 1851. My info on Sarah is that she was born 25 Feb 1820 in Londonberry, Ireland, and died 26 Mar 1912 in Brockville, Ont. Sarah Jane also married Moses Riley and John Young. She is buried in Pleasant Ridge, Wisconsin. Margaret's 4 siblings were: Almira, Sarah, Rev. William John, and an unknown female. I have a family portrait of all the siblings. Margaret married my gr-gr-grandfather, William 'Coleman' McDOUGALL, on 29 Jan 1868. They lived in Tin Cap, Ontario (near Brockville). Margaret & Coleman had 6 children, William 'Wallace' McDOUGALL being my gr-grandfather.
Does anyone have any further info on my Margaret Peebles or her parents? I am very interested in her father, John, and would be most grateful if someone could help me with some background info.
