I ran into a antique dealer in Canton TX today who has a bunch of old pictures he bought at a Peebles estate sale near Dallas TX. Some of the pictures are Tin Types and one says 1858. Many are obviously from the late 1800's. He also has many documents from this family including paperwork from a patent and a large family tree. One of the names was "Niles Peebles" and Dorothy. I just hate to see this stuff sold for decoration.
